Introduction

This analysis is a legal analysis of four court cases, two having to do with the allowing or disallowing the handling of forensic evidence, and two allowing or disallowing the handling of testimonial evidence. The purpose of this analysis is to give the facts of these cases, describe the rulings, the courts’ rationalizations for these rulings, and how these cases relate to criminal investigations.
